We had a wonderful stay at The Woodfords Inn! It’s a beautiful inn with plenty of amenities, peaceful surroundings, and gorgeous mountain views. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable. It was a lovely place to relax and take in the scenery. We would happily stay here again!

Perfect little wooded spot within a half hour of South Lake Tahoe. Front desk gentleman was very helpful and friendly and I stocked up on their free snacks and water before a big hike.

Adorable, quaint, affordable with all the needed things❤️ Great stay just outside of Lake Tahoe without the Lake Tahoe pricing. Perfect for what we were looking for!

The staffs are amazing! Very friendly and warm to guests. We stayed there for the Death Ride cycling event and they opened up the breakfast 4AM for us. Even the day after, they offer so much extra breakfast to ensure we stay in good shape.

The owner/proprietor was very friendly. I liked the assortment of snacks and items in the lobby that were offered for free. If we had more time, we would have liked to have used the bbqs and picnic tables on the grounds. Loved the full-sized refrigerator—freezer in the room. And plenty of room to park our SUV with 20 ft Airstream trailer.

A welcoming place with a generous morning spread, touched with a bit of Korean flavor on the side. It’s the only spot in the area offering full AC comfort, and just a quick 30‑minute drive from South Lake.

I was skeptical that a low-priced two-star hotel would meet my standards, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value with friendly management. I wish they had better signage because I drove past it the first time and cellular internet was sparce, but that's the worst thing I can say. Great comfortable rooms!

This is a cute little hotel that appears to have been renovated recently. The rooms have small vintage style refrigerator and microwave, nice, soft bedding and a cute wooden table and bed. It felt more like staying in a cabin than a hotel. The man running the front office was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely come back.

We had a really delightful stay. The owners recently updated the place with great care and taste. Place was very clean. Owners were very friendly. Setting is picturesque. Would definitely stay again.
