Excellent hospitality from the time of check-in to check-out. Never felt if we had left home. Extremely responsive to our needs even at 3am. My daughter got sick and the staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable away from home. Getting us to the doctor and pharmacy. Nada, the young lady, is gem of a person. In fact everyone is. All facilities are available 24hr. Breakfast was made to order. Riad is small and setup to show the moroccon culture. Attention to details. If we ever return to Marrakech, we certainly be staying at this Riad. Keep it up.

Excellent hospitality and service. Beautifully decorated riad. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared by the staff. Highly recommend staying here. It’s walkable to Saadian Tombs and shops are nearby.

The ONLY place to stay

From the moment we entered the riad it was warm and inviting. Not sure I’ve ever experienced anything like this (in a good way). Each room was creatively decorated and unique. Breakfast was delicious each and every morning.Nada, Abdul and the entire staff felt like family by the time we left. If I could give a better rating than 10 out of 10 I would. Close to everything yet far enough away from the soul…easy walk. Hope to return some day.

We absolutely adored the Riad—a genuine Moroccan delight. The staff's kindness, available 24/7, made us feel at home, and we'll genuinely miss them. My wife and I truly loved our stay at Riad Hikaya. From our gracious welcome, to lounging in the pool, celebrating with the staff a Morocco World Cup win, the delicious food, incredible service and friendliness of the entire staff, to our teary eyed goodbye when we had to leave. Everyone at Riad Hikaya makes you feel like family and we can't wait to visit our Family at Riad Hikaya again.

My husband and I stayed the Riad Hikaya for our honeymoon and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was delicious and elaborate! We had dinner twice at the Riad and it was absolutely delicious. When it comes to the service - it was seriously amazing! The staff were so thoughtful, personable and kind. The rooms were very clean, and the Riad itself was very well kept. We highly recommend this Riad for those traveling to Morocco. You will be enraptured by the decor and ambience of this Riad!

✨ *Riad Hikaya was everything we hoped for and more!* ✨ From seamless airport pickup via their app in a luxe Mercedes to a warm welcome with Moroccan tea and a property tour, everything was handled with care. The location is fantastic—seconds from local shops and the Saadian Tombs. Our room was spotless and well-stocked, refreshed daily, and the air conditioning made sleep blissfully cool. Breakfast each morning was a dream—pastries, fruit, crepes, omelettes, Moroccan tea or coffee, and fresh juice—served in your choice of serene spots: poolside, terrace, or dining room. The staff truly shine. Everyone we met was kind, incredibly attentive, and full of insightful local tips—better than any guidebook. We booked a private Agafay Desert excursion, arranged smoothly and added to our bill with zero hassle. What really sets Riad Hikaya apart is the sense of home. Every small touch, every kind gesture makes a difference. We’re so glad we chose a riad over a resort—and even happier it was this one. Immense gratitude to the entire team! Great staff. Monsieur Wadia, manager took care arranging taxi to pickup from the airport, Hot air ballooning, quad at agafay, hike to Ourika water fall, massage...and drop off at the airport. Abdol was of great help. Got us SIM card, printed boarding pass.. The lady at the evening shift was very kind. She even offered to make breakfast for us 2.30 AM as we had an early morning flight Nada brought a nice birthday cake for my wife Excellent experience

Loved this riad by far my favourite stay in Marrakech. You felt like royalty the moment you entered. The staff was always smiling and friendly and eager to help you. I felt like a celebrity here. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. Truly outstanding. They went through an entire map of Marrakech with me offering amazing suggestions. Overall don’t hesitate to book here. The decor is also incredible. I stayed at 6 riads during my time in Marrakech this stood out among the rest as a truly magical experience. Loved every moment. So generous. So hospitable. And ultra safe as a solo female traveller.

A beautiful oasis

We stayed in this riad for a full week (our first stop in a longer trek in Morocco) and I cannot say enough positive things about Riad Hikaya. An unassuming exterior in the relatively quiet Kasbah neighborhood leads to a gorgeous common area with a pool and a fountain, the latter adorned with fresh flower petals every day. Our room was beautiful, lushly decorated with beautiful details making everything feel cared for (a custom-made box to hide a heat/air unit? Great idea). The bathroom was incredible, with beautiful tile and marble work. Many of the staff have been there for years and it shows in how warm and welcome we felt there. The food is delicious. Breakfast became a wonder tour of different dishes. If you plan to eat dinner you should let them know in advance, as they will shop for ingredients in the market the very same day. Logistically, it’s a relatively short walk to the chaos that the Medina is known for, and has an uncommon benefit in being accessible by car. I cannot recommend a stay here more, and should we find ourselves in Marrakech, will be staying here again.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic we felt as if we were at home. Every evening my wife would say "see you later" as if talking to our kids Shout out to Nada for all her great sights ,cafes & restaurant recommendations along with the history of the Riad Abdul & Outman for their cheery dispositions & helpfulness Finally Bahija,Hanam & Kamilia for fantastic food & service. It’s Like Having A Local Family to Welcome You.

My mother and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Morocco, and we stayed at Riad Hikaya to get the experience of staying in the Medina. I can’t complement the quality and kindness of the staff enough! If you are interested in having a Riad experience, this is the place. The staff will become like family. My mother, at 88 is not always steady on her feet, but they were super attentive and helpful. The food they serve is excellent! The breakfasts are a feast, and we liked the food so much we ended up eating most of our dinners there as well. You will not be disappointed. If staying in a more sterile hotel is more your speed, then this is not for you. But, if you want a warm and caring experience, I can’t think of a better place to stay. From the start, they gave us tips in negotiating prices in the Souks, they arranged for a top notch guide to help us navigate the markets, and they prepared us for navigating the Medina.

Stayed for a week and was well looked after by all the staff, who were attentive and helpful on the area and arranged transportation for us on arrival and departure. While a little distance away from the Souk, 15 min walk, it’s not too far but offers a peaceful stay. Plenty of food places around the area and taxi nearby. Bus stop 5 min walk. Lovely sweet breakfast, often more food than we could eat. Pool takes the edge off the heat. And the terrace looks over the south of the city towards the Atlas Mountains, which are visible on a clear day.
