The Riad was always kept very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. If we booked a taxi through them, they walked us to the taxi area to make sure we were all set. I would definitely recommend this place.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr günstig in der Nähe der Souks gelegen. Abdoul hatte für uns eine Art Visitenkarte sowie eine Stadtkarte bereitgestellt, die wir zur Orientierung nutzen konnten. Man verläuft sich in der Medina ziemlich leicht - das gehört wohl zum Erlebnis. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse ist sehr klein aber wirklich erfrischend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und auf der Dachterrasse eingenommen ein Erlebnis. Insgesamt kann ich das Riad sehr empfehlen.

An Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Riad Swaka! I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Riad Swaka! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. A special thank you to Rada, Zahira, and Abdoul, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and communicative. We always felt safe, welcomed, and well taken care of. Whether we needed assistance, recommendations, or simply had a question, the staff was always available and happy to help. What made this experience so special was the people. Their kindness never felt forced. They genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our time in Marrakech. We honestly did not want to leave! Riad Swaka felt like a home away from home, and the staff made an already beautiful trip even more memorable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Riad Swaka to anyone visiting Marrakech. Five stars simply aren’t enough! I am so happy I chose this stat for my birthday.

The place is fantastic, a traditional riad in the old town, very close to all the places of interest. All the staff are friendly and did a great job on cleaning. Especially Abdul, who is very friendly and helpful. They can arrange a pick-up from the airport too. The breakfast is great, it changes daily with a local variety.

Tranquil retreat

Lovely Riad with amazing staff. It was so tranquil and breakfast was delicious - different every day, Our room had everything we needed and the location was ideal. All in all , a delightful stay x

Samir and Abdul were incredible hosts! Super attentive and went above and beyond. We had a lovely stay, the location in the medina is great. The food was lovely and the room was fantastic value for money! Thanks again for a great stay.

Very nice and cosy Riad. Great breakfasts and good wifi! Small pool on the roof for those days when it gets really warm, great if you have younger children. Superfriendly staff!

Fin riad med god beliggenhed

Skøn lille riad med dejlig tagterrasse ind mod Bahia Palace. Værelset føltes meget tæt ind mod fællesområdet da de øverste vinduer ikke kunne lukkes med skodder men det forstyrrede ikke søvnen og folk kunne ikke kigge ind. Meget venligt personale og god morgenmad. God beliggenhed tæt på Jemma el fnaa men samtidig roligt område uden larm.

A little gem! Lovely Riad wonderful helpful staff and fantastically situated in easy walking distance of most things! Finding it the first time is a little challenge but once found finding it again is fine. Breakfasts were traditional and lovely! I will be returning.

Latina and abdouel (night manager) were amazing. The morning breakfast was really good. Room was large and accommodated four adults well. Finding the Riad was a bit difficult at first-great location.

Amazing stay!!

This Riad was an amazing stay. The service was amazing - Abdul greeted us when we first arrived with Moroccan tea and gave us some great tourist places to go to! The Riad itself is quite hard to find (especially if arriving in the dark) but we managed it eventually. It is a close enough walk to the hustle and bustle of the Medina markets but feels so quiet when at the Riad.

Riad Swaka was absolutely incredible! We arrived quite late and were able to add an evening meal to our booking which was absolutely delicious. We were given such a warm welcome by Abdoul and Samir, who were always available to help us with recommendations and Arabic lessons! It was like being welcomed by family and we can’t wait to return. I would recommend this riad to everyone; it is right in the heart of the action, but is absolutely peaceful and quiet and just the most beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Swaka and were warmly welcomed by Mohamed when we arrived. The riad itself is beautiful – our room was clean, cozy, and always well taken care of throughout our stay. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the old Medina, just next to the impressive Ben Youssef Palace. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the atmosphere around the pool was peaceful and relaxing. A special thank-you to Abdul – he was incredibly kind, always available for a nice conversation, and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable. You can really feel that the hosts here take their time to understand your needs and wishes. We highly recommend Riad Zwarka to anyone looking for an authentic and warm stay in Marrakech.

Hidden Paradise. But the staff are the real gems.

It's a hidden paradise in a fantastic location in the heart of Marrakech. The place is beautiful but what makes it are the staff from Samir who gave us all the information we needed and made himself very accessible, organising transport to the airport, giving us the best prices for things and arranging camel riding. Then there is Abdul, a Berber who was keen to teach anyone about the local language and culture, is always keen to help out and cooks the best tagine, morrocan salad and croquettes that you will have while in Morocco.

Fantastic time and so different from the ‘usual’

This ‘experience’ was fantastic, inside the Medina is a mesmerising chaos but the riad was quite cool and a haven. This is not a hotel but a traditional riad. Nothing was too much trouble, even obtaining alcohol during Ramada.Local knowledge was always available. Breakfast was traditional and very nice. We were met at the airport and then on the street to be taken down many alleys to the riad , I would suggest you need this if you’re new to the area Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat, thank you for a great and memorable week

Amazing stay in the heart of Marrakech

It’s a beautiful little Riad in a great location in Medina. The staff are amazing people and very helpful. We dealt with Samira, Mohamed, and Abdul. They were very helpful and accommodating. It made our stay very enjoyable. The rooftop is also nice to sit for breakfast and enjoy the sunshine. The mattresses are a little bit too hard for my liking, but everything else was great. Make sure you get in touch with them before for directions, or else it could be quite tricky to find for a first timer to Marrakech.

Perfect Riad fo quiet location and pool relaxation

This Riad is great for relaxation. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to everything in the Medina of interest. I would stay in this neighbourhood again vs. staying in the middle of the Medina. We traveled in December and were in need of getting some sunny time, which was possible with the rooftop lounge chairs and the pool. Breakfast is great. The Riad staff is fantastic, very helpful. Before arrival call the Riad for pickup at the nearest parking, and someone will come by foot and pick you up. Otherwise the Riad is difficult to find in the small streets the first time.

Tranquility and excellent hospitality!

Our stay at Riad Swaka was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, well decorated, and extremely quiet. We had our best nights sleep in ages there. As it’s situated in the old city, finding it initially through the mazy streets was slightly tricky. If you call ahead, they will send someone to meet you and guide you to the Riad. Samir was an excellent host and provided us with hospitality which was way above and beyond. For instance my stomach was playing up one evening so he cut some rosemary from the terrace garden to make a tea and it really did help. He also made an excellent breakfast which we enjoyed on the roof terrace overlooking Bahia Palace in the morning sun. Although we were only there for a couple of nights, we wished it was for longer and will be looking to stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

Riad infesté de punaises de lit. J’y ai passé une seule nuit sur les 5 payées car le Riad est complet et la seule solution trouvée par le propriétaire est de me faire dormir sur une banquette sur la terrasse du toit. Il refuse de me rembourser les nuits non passées sur place et me confisque la clé de ma chambre et m’interdit l’accès au Riad sans aucune autre solution de logement. Obligée de porter plainte à la police qui décide de fermer ce Riad pour cause d’hygiène déplorable et de non respect des touristes. Fuyez!!!
