"This is our go-to for travel in and out of Tours since it’s immediately adjacent to the TGV station. It’s always clean and the staff always pleasant. Everyone we have encountered also speaks pretty good English. This is not a fancy-pants hotel with luxe appointments, but always reliable. They have a parking lot and excellent little pates de fruits bonbons at the reception desk."

While staff did eventually bring up a fan, it did very little to cool the room down, making it nearly impossible to sleep. "Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day."

"we are in our 80's, the bathroom is in need of handicapped rails especially how high the tub sides are. The temperature while we were there was in the 60's. the room had no heat. It was quite uncomforatable at times. dinner was very good but having the same menu several days in a row was disapointing. Overall the stay was enjoyable"
