Hôtel la Résidence du Vieux Port

"Excellent location from which to explore Marseille - and stunning views of the vieux port - if you book a sea view. We were on 7th floor in a family suite with two teenagers, their bedroom had no view at all which didn’t matter for us as we had the view at the front (from our bedroom) and for them they had a quiet, comfortable place to sleep. It is a little noisy because of the location but this didn’t bother us as we were out until late and really it’s all quiet by midnight and really worth it to be right in the centre overlooking the beautiful harbour. Ask for a room on the top few floors as this probably helps with the noise below. Staff super friendly, welcoming and nothing too much trouble. I would stay again and would recommend to others. Great hotel and Marseille definitely worth a visit."

"Our expectations were high prior to arrival, but Les Roches Blanches Hotel really impressed us a lot on all levels. Beautiful setting, and garden. Elegant interior design, numerous places to eat outdoors, unique ambience and high level service. All staff with smiles every day!"

"The room was clean and. The breakfast was good. But the restaurant Mia located in the hotel was definitively overpriced compared to the quality of the food, the staff not good and overcooked meal ( meat and fish)"

"Centrally situated in Vieux Port with easy access to shops and restaurants. The Marina is in easy walking distance with many choices for entertainment and dining. The staff in the hotel were very helpful which help my wife and I have a wonderful stay In Marseille."

"As a solo traveller I look want a safe, friendly, comfortable, clean room and I found this little no thrills hotel ticked all those boxes. It was incredibly economical and was right in the middle of the action of the old port within walking distance of everything and connected well by public transport. Safe neighbourhood with lots of eateries, places to visit. The staff were very friendly and polite and willing to help anytime. The only negative was that breakfast was not available but to be honest there were tons of really great cafes within walking distance . The air conditioner was not the best but its central air so bring a small portable bedside fan if you wish. Room quiet at night despite busy outside. Very comfortable bed and nice separate bathroom . The wall socket did not work in my room that was the only real bummer."
