This hotel was in an excellent location in Marseille's old port. Walkable to everything. The staff was especially nice and helpful. And the steps up to the first floor are not that bad. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location-steps from the harbour and Metro station. There are step to get to the reception but we had been informed ahead of time. There is a lift from there to the rooms. We got a very warm and friendly welcome. We liked the bottle of cold water offered for our room. A wonderful place to stay.

Staff is so helpful, charming , TRULY. Location is perfect, chose with a port-side view, well worth it, to look onto the gorgeous old port of Marseille. Yes, the series of initial stairs to climb to the lobby is typical of old Europe, but the staff had immediately warned us as soon as we had made our reservations. Friends in Marseille had recommended the hotel as reasonably priced with excellent staff & rooms, and they were right. Merci encore a l’equipe a la reception de l’hôtel!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, and everything was spotless. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the air conditioning was very effective. There were a few minor issues that didn’t affect the quality of our stay but may be relevant for others: I found the bed a little too soft, and thanks to the raised platform around it, a little too low. The bedside lights seemed to still glow even when switched off, and there were no in-room tea-making facilities or safe. The lift was quite small and only started from first floor up so would not be suitable for those with mobility issues. These did not affect our stay in any major way as everything else was perfect and you can tell the staff care and provide the best service they can. And the view is fantastic with no noise audible from the very busy street below!

Nice room and building located well in the old port, but the lack of a lift up to the reception floor was tough with heavy suitcases after a long travel. The room was spacious enough and had an amazing view, however there was no fridge and no kettle. The air conditioning didn’t work. Staff were pleasant at check in and check out and the common area looked nice and clean also. Housekeeping cleaned our room / changed towels and bedding despite us only staying one night which was good to know the hotel room was clean.
