There did not seem to be anyone who could speak English who could help newcomers to the area locate or recommend restaurants or nearby places to visit. As a first time visitor having a concierge available would have been helpful. "Great location, room w balcony was lovely as was pool area. We missed the first night due to all trains to Marseille being cancelled but they wouldn’t refund our first night (which I do understand) or I didn’t even get my free beverage at check in (after a long car ride to get there). staff was ok but not super friendly at front desk (at least the gentleman at check out). The bar was swarming w fruit flies including all over the fruit they were using so that put me off getting a slice of lemon...

"Staying here, right in the center of Aix en Provence was a terrific choice. The room was delightful, including wonderful air conditioning on a very hot evening. The staff was terrific, welcoming us early into the restaurant for our complimentary glass of champagne and helping us find a great food tour for the next day. Breakfast, which was included with the room rate was fantastic. I would highly recommend this great property and their delightful staff for your time in Aix en Provence!"

"The rooms are clean and spacious, and the pool is nice, but this hotel is terribly located and over-priced. There are no restaurants or sights within walking distance, and it’s still a 25 minute drive to the airport. Since the hotel restaurant was closed for a group event the night we were there, we walked around trying to find somewhere to eat, but the neighbourhood did not feel safe at night. We ended up just ordering Uber Eats. Breakfast was not included and was expensive, but we had no other...
