"I have stayed at Hotel 1620 several times and have typically had a great experience, but unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. We stayed in a double queen room (Room 344) on Saturday, August 15th. Both mattresses were extremely uncomfortable — very hard and springy — and both of us woke up with sore backs the next morning. "We like the location, nice hotel. There is some maintenance needed; the shower faucet needs to be tightened with an Allen wrench and some lock tight. The outlet in breakfast coffee maker shelves did not work. Thermostat worked accurately. The wedding party guests were the only issue with their loud noise."

"Everything was super clean and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was super good and organized. I booked a two bed hotel room but once I went they said they didn’t have any two bed rooms available and gave me a one bed room, even though it had one bed everyone was able to fit and sleep in the bed super comfortable but other than that I feel like everything was super good. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back in the future!"

"My husband and I loved being at this beach-facing hotel and its comforts. But we were disappointed to learn that the on-premise restaurant does not open for breakfast. They have a sad little breakfast room, at the back of the hotel, selling coffee and such. We fled for the street and found an okay place for good coffee but no food options other than muffins and coffee cake slices. We should have headed down the street to Dunkin’. We wish the Nantasket Resort Hotel would live up a little better...

"The staff were so kind and friendly. The room was very clean and fresh. The only thing was the people staying below us were very loud and kept us from sleeping because the walls are thin, but that was not a reflection on the hotel, just bad luck one night."

"Our room was small. Would’ve been perfect for solo travel or a couple, but we had a group and that made it a little difficult. Be sure to contact the property if you have need of the sofa bed. They put us in a tiny room but this is a boutique hotel and they’re all different and she would’ve been happy to accommodate us. They just didn’t know our guest count since we booked through a 3rd party. Loved the shower. Super cute place. Unassuming outside but adorable inside. :)"

"The room was immaculate and it is a fabulous location. Cute outdoor patio area and outdoor shower. Walkable to everything Nantasket Beach has to offer. The beds were very firm and in my opinion uncomfortable. The curtains were room darkening and not true black out, and were half length to accommodate the AC unit, so the outdoor lighting seeped in above, below and through in the evening, and the room was much brighter than expected in the early morning.
