"The location felt safe, room was clean, and staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was included, which was a nice plus! Also loved the light switches being at the bed for lazy access. My only complaint would be the noise-level. I could hear people having normal-volume conversations next door as well as every door that opened/closed in the hallway. There was also some kind of banging noise coming from outside throughout the night. It was kind of hard to stay asleep. Also wish the TVs had some kind of streaming service instead of relying solely on cable, but for the price, beggars can’t be choosers. Very impressed with the level of care from the staff given the price point. I’ve stayed in some questionable places, but definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a clean, affordable place to rest your head for a night or two!"

"We have stayed at numerous Quality Inn locations over the years, and I wanted to share that our recent stay at the Matthews, North Carolina location was one of our most pleasant experiences to date. We visit the Charlotte and Concord area annually for the NASCAR races and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and we find your property exceptionally convenient for our trips. We were thoroughly impressed by the spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms, the quiet setting, the high level of professionalism from the front desk staff, and the efficiency of the housekeeping team. Your staff truly made us feel welcome. The main issue we encountered during our stay related to the Wi-Fi service. Because I work in a hybrid capacity, having a stable internet connection is essential for my daily work responsibilities. Unfortunately, we experienced a few unexpected internet outages while trying to work. Additionally, while we appreciate that the setting is quiet and off the beaten path, we found the property a bit difficult to locate at first and somewhat tucked away from nearby dining and entertainment options."
