"It was a small room and no air conditioner, but unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t very good! Very few things, The croissants were born, not to many varieties!"

"Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. "This hotel gets a lot of bad reviews but for a budget hotel it was great for a 2 night stay with my daughter for a cheerleading competition. The room and hotel decor is dated but this did not affect our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided and tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. "Absolutely awful. Dont care how desperate you are, DONT BOOK HERE! Seaguls nesting outside your security locked window (you can open the window two inches). The smell coming from the outside of the room from bird mess was over powering. If your on the second floor the heat in the room unbearable. The 2 inch dust on the curtains and the black dots throughout the bedding, makes you sleep with your clothes on. Ive requested a refund, but it takes 10days for someone to get back to you. "Some areas showed their age . Staff where courteous and kind . Views are wonderful but the terrace needs tidying up. Breakfast was like a feast! 25 to 30 years ago we used to come regularly for several holidays a year. It's an old building and needs a brush up. They've tried to maximise money making on the terrace not all of which is easy on the eye . However despite criticism I'm already planning a return trip ."
