"I only stayed for one night, but the hotel was clean and the room was very spacious. The breakfast had several options and was well stocked. The best part of the stay was the hotel staff. The manager (Makenna?) was very friendly and helpful, giving me recommendations for places to eat and a map that included both downtown Missoula and most of western Montana, which was very helpful since I was driving from Missoula to Kalispell.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay."
"Bathroom door didn’t latch. Toilet ran and dripped all night. Bedding was gritty and dirty. Slept on top Windows were residential grade and highway was very loud."
"I booked WoodSpring Suites because it was the cheapest option for one night. I also saw ahead of time that the rooms are basic and do not have many amenities, so I cannot really hold that against them. For a quick overnight stay, it seemed fine on paper, and it may be fine for some people as long as they know what they are getting.
The rooms look newer and decent for a cheaper hotel. At least it was not old, worn out, or ratty. The bathroom served its purpose, the AC worked, and there was plenty of storage.
The biggest issue was the noise. The hard floors make everything loud. The room above us sounded like 15 little kids running a marathon until about 11 p.m., and we could hear every step and door slam. That was matched by the refrigerator, which had a loud vibrating motor noise like something was going out. I could slide it out, shake it, and it would stop for a few minutes before starting right back up.
The beds themselves were not bad, just on the stiff side like you expect at a cheaper hotel. The frames were odd though. Both queen beds sat unevenly, with one side touching the floor and the other raised about an inch. Any movement made it sound like horses trotting across the wood floor.
I also do not believe they have an ice machine. I checked the vending area and only saw vending machines, with no signs for ice.
Overall, it served its purpose for one night, but between the noise, refrigerator, and bed frame issues, we would choose a different hotel next time."
