"Perfect for a couple's getaway. Room was lovely, a restaurant onsite, friendly staff, and all within a gentle stroll through the vineyard to Palliser for wine tasting."

"The location was excellent as were the staff, the room was nice and had a great view of the garden. The only small issue was that the tv was very small in a very large room. Regardless of this the next time we come to Martinborough, we will stay at the hotel in the Palliser room again."

"Great unobtrusive Kiwi hospitality in a wonderful location. We were there in early spring and already the garden was bursting with color with tulips, daffodils, and blossoms on the trees. Birdsong everywhere. Enjoyed a very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Had great communication from Renee and Kevin. Looking forward to returning."

"Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was great and a good size. Bed was comfortable. Access was easy with a door into a corridor as well as one to the outside parking area. Gym was well equipped for its size. I would suggest some kind of sanitizer to wipe down the equipment after use. Indoor & outdoor pool were well maintained. The grounds were lovely and well maintained as well. Restaurant had some tasty dishes."

"They charged me twice for the room in error and I still haven't received a refund. I messaged them as soon as I realised I'd been over charged and never received a reply to that message. I have to call to get any updates. Check in was via an app which was not straight forward and I wasn't initially sent the access code."

"The place was clean Nice receptionist T V was making weird crackly noises couldnt turn sound up Couldnt get onto wifi at all wouldnt recognize room number and kept coming up unsafe The shower rose is leaking Air con over bed v noisy"

"This place is a disgrace. Grubby, not maintained, the grounds used to be beautiful but now they are overgrown, the decks are rotting, the windows are dirty, generally awful and certainly not worth $150/night and that is a discounted rate (really!). Absolutely ruined our stay in Masterton at a time when we were grieving."

"Staff were really helpful we weren't sure if we would make it before reception closed so I sent them a message they called me back with an alternative option. We did manage to get there in time & they checked if we had everything we needed"
