"The hotel was built around 1923, so the layout is from back in the day and pretty interesting. I got the Bluebonnet Room, which is just that - a single small room. No toilet or shower, which are down the hall a few steps. Maybe the suites have those, I'm not sure. The room did have a sink, but the hot water faucet was not working. "Room was super nice and very clean. The decor was quite pleasing. The communication was perfect. We drove in late to the property and the ease of locating our cabin was perfect. After loving the cabin from the beginning the comfort and quietness only added to the experience. The morning brought chirping birds and a cool breeze on the above cabin deck, accessible by a nice little spiral staircase. Excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Location is perfect ; just minutes away from downtown...

"The staff were so nice and welcoming. The room though was not up to expectations. The wood floors were very dirty and left our socks and bare feet black. The bathroom sink did not drain. The toilet tank and bowl were not fully connected to each other or the floor. Someone needs to clean and maintain these rooms. "

"What you see on their site is not what you get. Mold in the shower. Cockroaches. Stains on both mattresses. The list goes on and on. Posting pictures. "
