"The staff are very helpful and friendly. They make you feel like you’re family. They were quick to respond when there was an issue with the heat in my room. The hotel is beautiful. The main floor is antique like the old city there is a lot of room to enjoy company or reading. The rooms on the upper floors are modern and very comfortable. My room had a great view of walls at the Jaffa Gate and the Tower of David. I highly recommend the Gloria Hotel "

This is essentially a rooming house in the religious Geula neighborhood, with basic and very comfortable amenities and touches of artistic flair in all of the public rooms. I loved my stay. "The hotel is in the Arab quarter of Jerusalem, which means that shops and restaurants are open on Fridays and Saturdays. The reception staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. No complaints about the room or condition. Rooftop swimming pool would be great when the weather is warmer. Nearby there is the wonderful Armenia Ceramic Workshop, perfect for gifts. And to eat there is the American Colony and the Jerusalem Hotel, the staff at the latter are lovely. For decent coffee try Nordic...
