Excellent hotel in Mataram

Excellent place, stayed there for 5 or 6 nights during a conference in Mataram, Lombok. Really friendly staff, excellent rooms (deluxe room), good room service and desk help in the lobby. Would recommend it to everyone.

Location is easy access within Mataram city by taxi or Grab. The table in the room is too small to accomodate a laptop or a few books. Lighting is not bright, difficult to read a book in the room

As soon as I got to my room I saw that the 3 in 1 soap dispenser was nearly empty, so I requested that they fill it up. They came to the room and told me they filled it, but they actually didn't, and half way through my shower I ran out of soap. The floor had many black hairs on it, and since my hair is not black, it means that the hair was from previous guests or staff, so the room was dirty and unsanitary. The rooms are non-smoking, but in the foyer of each floor they have ashtrays and invite guests to smoke there, which defeats the purpose of having non-smoking rooms since the smoke from the foyer permeates every room on the floor. This was a very bad stay and definitely does not make Aston and the fave hotel brand look good.

Tout a bien commencé à l’arrivée : l’equipe est accueillante, l’hotel est facilement accessible, ils proposent plein de services comme restaurant bar, taxis ou encore massages. Malheureusement je ne sais pas si cest que nous y avons séjourné au mauvais moment mais au restaurant 1 tiers de la carte n’était pas disponible, nous avons attendu 30 minutes pour 2 cocktails et la nuit une enorme fete faisait littéralement trembler les murs.. c’est domage.

Definitely of of my “Fave”orite Hotel stays

I can’t really adequately stress how great of a deal this hotel is. I initially booked it because of it’s close proximity to the immigration office in Mataram. I had low expectations, as it is described as a “budget hotel”. However, everything from the extremely friendly staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms, the movie channels on the tv, to the food, kept surprising me. I needed copies made for my visa extension paperwork...no problem. Changes to a pizza, (another steal at 58k), delivered to the room...no problem. Need a private car to Kuta, an hour away...no problem, let us call our driver. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, with an member of the staff running an omelet bar in addition to all of the other food offered (fruits, toast, three kinds of jam, tea, coffee, juices, cereal, soup, traditional Indonesian foods like Nasi Goring, fried rice, spicy chicken, etc). I honestly can’t think of anything the staff or hotel could have done better. This hotel is a gem of a deal for what you get, and when I go back in a few days to get my passport I will stay there again without hesitation.

Nice hotel but location leaves some to be desired. Good rooms with newer amenities. Has underground secured parking and overall the facility is newer. Area is close to almost nothing. No tourist conveniences at all except for a couple smaller minimarts. Boat transfer information and scoot rental were hard to find and could use some additional work in that category.

A very nice hotel. Their cafe was good value and food was good with a limited menu. You will be woken by the many mosques around the hotel. The shower floor was slippery.

Stylish comfy hotel in Mataram.

Very nice hotel in Mataram, with good facilities and super comfy room! Food at the restaurant was also very good. Not much to do around the local area - this is more of a one night stop kind of place, as well as loads of business types there too.

Would Come Back Again

The service was friendly and prompt. We had a problem with one of the rooms I had booked but it was resolved the same day. Everything was working properly in our room and the facilities seem to be well maintained. Areas for improvement: Check in could have been faster; There can be more variety day to day for breakfast; Any chicken I had (either cooked as a separate dish or included in a porridge) was tough and stringy. It appeared the chicken they serve is either bad quality or not cooked properly; The liquid soap in the shower ran out completely so it appears they don't check it daily during housekeeping; They only provided 2 towels daily even though we were 2 adults and a child and the towels were also rough; The middle legs in my bed were missing so I did not get good back support when I slept. Despite the above, I was overall happy with my stay. This was due to the outstanding service from all the hotel staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice budget hotel

The staff is super friendly and the hotel is overall clean and nice. The only thing is that there is not so much to do in Mataram itself and if you ask them for a driver be ready to bargain because he will ask way too much.
