"We recently stayed at this beautiful century home conveniently located not too far from Hwy 40. The host is friendly -- they've been doing this for 16 years or so -- and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. However, we stayed in a room that did not have an ensuite bathroom. Hence, the toilet and the shower (shared with another bedroom, but also used by other guests) were at the other end of the floor, which is not ideal. Moreover, our room door did not properly close! Very awkward...

"We stayed here with our two children, but the experience was very disappointing. None of the bed sheets were clean—they all smelled like someone had just slept in them. The kitchen was not available, and the hot tub was uncomfortable to use with the hosts nearby. When I raised these issues, the host argued and said I was “just looking for something wrong.” We eventually received a refund but had to find another place to stay. I hope the host improves both the cleanliness and the attitude toward...
