"Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. La Gabarie ist ein Paradis, welches wir wärmstens empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und funktionell eingerichtet, es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind ganz wunderbar, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir wurden wie gute Freunde empfangen. Das Frühstück ist ganz hervorragend und wir haben den tollen Swimmingpool benutzen können. Gerne kommen wir wieder!"

"Set in quiet countryside but close to le Bugue and Limeuil. Nicholas and Michel are great hosts and will be a loss to the area when they move to Bordeaux next year. The pool is clean and it's nice to find one with a proper deep end. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed. The food is wonderful. "

"This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience."

"Our room was lovely with an old world feel combined with modern facilities, a tasteful restful space. Nathalie and Eric the owners were extremely hospitable and friendly, and laid on a wonderful breakfast every morning together with a table d'hote for the guests on the Monday night we stayed with them which was most enjoyable. The exterior of the property is very picturesque with expansive grounds along with a lovely pool and shaded deck. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we are...

"Nous avons tres bien été accueilli par Aurélie et son mari. Pour nous cela était notre première nuit à l'extérieur avec notre bébé de 5 mois. Nous avons profitez de toutes les attention d'Aurélie. Lit bébé installé ;). La literie est confortable. La chambre et salle de bain sont spacieuses. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de la piscine cependant le cadre et sympathique. Le ptit déjeuner au top. Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir au pays de Jacquou. "

"These are lovely people and it’s a beautiful located property. If you are from the UK or US the owners both speak amazing English and will make you most welcome. Two nights wasn’t enough, but we were unable to extend our stay as it was fully booked. Would love to come back one day. "
