Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Nach Filterkaffee zum sehr englischen Frühstück muss gefragt werden. Sehr ruhig, etwas abgelegen. Vergleichsweise schlichter Standard, etwas tüdelige Einrichtung.

Horrible place

I booked this place not expecting anything more than a three star and indeed the place did not disappoint. The room was advertised as executive but it was way below average. It was more of a backpacker. The furniture is old, the floor is neither tiled nor carpeted (it was a cement floor). The room has this 1982 bed with a very old mattress.The shower was not working properly. I must say the people were very friendly and the Wifi was on point.

A Swazi welcome awaits you

Very nice guesthouse. One the main road between Mbabane and Elzuwini Valley. Excellent breakfast. What is most impressive is the staff. They are incredibly nice and very helpful. Can't emphasize this enough. Fantastic staff with excellent service.

winter nights

my stay was great, but Had problem during night time as that was the only time I spent in the room,the whole day i spent at work. the problem I faced at night was the cold, the was only one heating system and is located far from the bed, it hardly could warm the air between it and the bed

WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

It was a horrible and terrible experience. On arrival we were told we were not booked in and they said hotels.com never booked us any room and that you (hotels.com) are not reliable, the owner said. We were forced to share one bathroom with my son and his family. My son booked with the help of Expedia and they experienced the same problem like us. We ultimately decided to cut our stay by two days.

Luxury Township B & B

Room number. 2 for the price is absolutely not right, the bathroom is not even 1Star, on the way back to Port Elizabeth we have 3 times stayed overnight in 3 star B & B is +/- the same price, compared to Eden was 5 Star !!!

1 night stay at Eden

I have stayed at Eden only for 1 night. The pictures in the internet look much better than reality. The swimming pool was dirty and closed, covered by a net. The bungalows are not as clean as expected. Definitely the price is too high for that kind of place. This is rather 1 star hotel.

The many uses of old sewing machines

I spent a week in Mbabane on a working trip. Eden turned out to be a good spot for it, not much to distract you unless you want to socialize with other guest - there happened to be many around. The room was homely, and old TV so high I could not reach it, but on the other hand the TV-plug was also the plug for the kettle and I needed my coffee. It is not always one has the privilege to use an old Singer as a desk, it was rather nice. Internet functioned well during the whole of my stay. I would definitely stay again

'Keep calm and carry on'

You'll see these signs all around the dining room! Lovely setting; peaceful. Room 13 was nice; I was moved there from room 8 which is to be avoided. NB This is a guest house so don't expect hotel facilities.

quiet oasis

Stayed with colleague in executive room. I got the suite which was fabulous but her exec room was only so/so. Great location - extremely quiet. Very friendly, almost over friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty good - coffee lovers will be disappointed as coffee from jar. Had dinner there twice and was pretty good for the price. Really need car as distance from ither Mbabane or Manzini. Note airport has moved another 100 km towards Mozambique so if you are hiring car almosts no point in not driving frm Jo'berg to Sw.

Don't stay here

As other people have said, this place is quirky. Quirky is fine, but quirky and grubby is not. Our room smelled of mould and damp. The bathroom mats were liberally caked in some kind of brown clag - mud, I hope. The sheets, while clean, were yellow and stained - with what, I shudder to think. Outside, the whole property was pervaded by a persistent smell of raw sewage and leaking gas. Breakfast was variable. On the first morning, it was fine (as long as you ignore the fact that there is no coffee - just a jar of Nescafe). On the second morning, the bacon was utterly revolting - thick grey strips of indeterminate material that may or may not have been edible. No one at our table took the trouble to find out. On the third morning, we had left, despite having already paid for our rooms in full. It was that bad. Avoid. P.S. The only bright point was the staff, who were mostly efficient and unfailingly pleasant. But still, avoid.
