"It is a clean, lovely hotel and would be our go to except its only restaurant is the attached Dennys...with is trash food. We tried to get room service, but Dennys would only deliver if we paid a delivery fee and tip???? They are IN the hotel, why would they charge? Anyway we go food to go and went down to pick it up but it was absolutely disgusting...they put steamed broccoli loose in the to go box.. So gross. They don't offer a breakfast because they want you to buy breakfast from the Dennys...

"King room was updated and clean. Good mattress. Pillows poor. Towels new. Windows opened, but screen had a hole. Parking was good. Staff at check in was excellent. At checkout very distracted and not typical of service normally received. Housekeeping staff very friendly."

"While Atlantica is a fine hotel with friendly and helpful staff, it is not a "tourist" hotel in terms of location. We initially assumed we could walk downtown and to the boardwalk. A helpful front desk employee disabused us of that. Getting around Halifax from the Atlantica pretty much requires a car. Once we got accustomed to getting around by car, the hotel served its purpose as a clean, well-serviced accommodation and we had no complaints whatsoever. If someone wants to be located in the...

It was a bit noisy. The flooring in the bathroom looked dirty, but I think it was just the flooring material that was used.
