"Location is great for experiencing the town of Lava Hot Springs. Picture a backcountry hotel merged with staying at grandma's, that's the feel. Very cozy. Staff was very kind. I arrived very late and had to call a couple of phone numbers to get checked in but still pretty efficient as long as you've got a cell phone. The pool took a second to find, even though a map was provided, but I suppose that's to keep people who aren't guests from knowing about it too easily."

"We had a suite for a little extra space and we enjoyed it. The young staff on the front desk was excellent. The free breakfast was good, I'd say above average. The staff who managed the kitchen and serving area for the breakfast was great, more than helpful. Have already booked our next stay!"

"I paid for a 2 bed suite knowing I have 4 kids with me and upon check in was told the hotel over sold rooms and I was the lucky one to be moved to 2 separate rooms non - conjoining and quite a bit smaller. A heads up would have been nice so we could have planned accordingly. Not to mention, the walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. I’m sure our neighbors didn’t help but either way, Request a top floor and bring earbuds."
