"The soap dispenser for the bathroom sink was empty when we arrived and when we showered in the morning the drain backed up until we were standing in a couple of inches of water. Asked at the front desk if they would be cleaning our room daily (there was no information in the room regarding any details about the hotel or the rooms). I was told "they should". The morning guy the next day was everything I would have expected, well groomed, welcoming and cheerful. 180 degrees difference which colored our experience. The hotel is somewhat dated but the room was comfortable and clean"

"One strange thing . . . People who are not using the hot tub seem to hang around the hot tub all the time. No one used the hot tub the entire time I was there, this is probably why. I certainly didn't feel comfortable using it, it's a very small area with only a few chairs. Staff, rooms, restaurant and ambiance was first rate! Absolutely lovely!"
