"The room was cleaner than many 5-star hotels (baseboards, walls, ceiling, corners and crevices. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the wall are extremely, extremely thin. "

"We had a great stay at the 21c Museum Hotel Durham. The location is perfect, and the front desk staff was really friendly. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. I especially loved the mattress and pillows, and the shower was amazing. It was also nice to see eco-friendly toiletries. We were on the 6th floor and it was nice and quiet, and the blackout shades worked so well. We usually wake up early, but we actually slept in because the room was so comfortable and dark. Only small downsides: the ice delivery took a while, and valet was a bit backed up when we arrived. It looked like a U-Haul trailer was taking up space that should’ve been for guests, which didn’t help. But honestly, those were minor things. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Durham for a show or event."

"Beautiful room and lobby. Parking should be free. It’s a self-park lot. There should be a coffee maker in the room. $200+ per night deserves in/ room coffee pods!"

"The free breakfast was decent. Hot eggs, bacon, turkey sausage. Can make your own waffles. Bagels, yogurt, etc. The food was fine for what it is. The room was clean. Our first room had a nonfunctional A/C unit. We switched and the other room had no issues. Did not use other parts of hotel. Good location. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance."
