"The individual at the front desk was unpleasant and unhelpful to my wife on the morning of check out, and when I went down to fetch the items, she was in the same mood. Later in the morning at check out, her day had apparently not gotten any better with the progression of guests. On the high side, I enjoyed the use of the pool/hot tub area, but it did not appear to be cleaned overnight. "Stayed here for the first time. Close to the airport but it's not noisy at all. This hotel offers hot breakfast however they don't do pancakes and waffles Monday through Friday. Indoor swimming pool, 24-hour gym, free parking was a plus. Mountain view is beautiful!"

"A heads up, this particular Comfort Suites does not allow cats. This is a decision by that locations upper management. If you are travelling with a cat, book elsewhere. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was standard with abundant choices. The shower had a powerful stream as well as nice and hot. Bathroom was very clean. I found the carpet needed a good cleaning and the outside of the waste baskets needed to be cleaned."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable. But the tiny complementary bottle of lotion had been used and half gone. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were dirty and slimy. A friend was in the next room and said they didn't even get any lotion and their shampoo dispenser was completely out of shampoo. "Ashland Hills Hotel is a large campus hotel. Unfortunately the signage is nearly nonexistent. A sign that says “stairs - pool access” continues to end of stairs to no signage to guide you where to go next. Sign on door says “hydration station” to one no where to be found. You get off elevators to no room number signs. You are on your own to figure it out. I couldn’t let my mobility lacking mother out to navigate anywhere, for fear she would end up lost and exhausted.
