"The Chalet is an historic and exquisitely furnished guest house. It is filled with original art and its hosts are sympathetic, kind and have an eye for detail. They think of their guests’ every need and provide ambience and comfort. It’s beautifully clean, the tables are dressed with fresh flowers and the log fire is lit in the evenings near the chesterfield sofas."

"Room on the ground floor was clean & renovated. I wish they would put a white curtain like the rest of the rooms for privacy. Also still no rack in the shower to hang your towels. The heater does not work. I was absolutely freezing on the 1st night, especially the bed being next to the window. Indigo from reception was thoughtful to lend one for the night. Otherwise enjoyed my stay, just need to test the heater if staying during winter 😁"

"We were 3 families sharing 2 apartments to explore Leura and do some bushwalking, it was a memorable time with friends, well supported by this accommodation. The kitchens were well stocked and bedrooms, bathrooms, plus sofa bed gave us flexibility to make sleeping arrangements we preferred. Adults and teenagers all enjoyed the stay thoroughly."

"Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace."

"Have stayed here quite a few times. Great all round. Only issue was the shower soap was empty! And a side light broken. Proximity to the club for drinks and meals is great and plenty of free parking."
