Close to the shops and bus/tram stations. The unit needed a good clean and make over. Microwave was dirty and covered with splattered food. Coffee cups were dirty with coffee rings on the inside, cutlery was dirty, we had to wash everything before we used it. Bathroom top bench was dirty, paint all chipping off, shower over bath sprayed water all over the floor. TV didn't work, emailed management about this and anoher issue and did not get a reply. No wifi. Dust all over the chair legs and carpets and power points. Very overpriced for the 3 nights for what we got.

Very dirty, bathroom walls had marks not cleaned, room was terribly dusty, TV was not working. Unpleasant smell in the room, floors look like they have never seen a vacuum since it was built. Quilt and the pillows were dirty, the milk in the fridge was off. They ask for a photo of the credit card for late check ins which is a worry. A/C was noisy, the wardrobe doors were about to collapse. Never again!!

Just not a nice room ... no wifi and very poor reception on the telephone. The room was never cleaned and it was quite dirty. I would not advise anyone to stay there.

Good location, near trams and buses. Self check-in was ok once I figured out the correct keypad. Room was ok. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. Parking was available. The property is starting to look a bit tired, but still quite adequate.

I originally booked four nights and paid online to Wotif. I advised I would only be saying two nights, commencing 21/11/2025. When I booked, one of the front office team members said I would be refunded for the other two nights. Even after a reminder, the refund was not paid. Very poor service from Kew Apartments and Wotif

Altho comfortable and quiet, there was debris (dried fruit) on the carpet and hairs in the shower recess and stains on the comforter. There were also very few tea bags in the tea box. There also wasn’t a screen on the window so bugs flew in if I opened it!

Room is older but has the necessary items. The window in my room did not close fully and hence on cold windy days my room was very cold. Aircon of course could fix, but I prefer not to use aircon. Staff were nice if you could find them. There is a reception desk but it is NEVER manned. You have to ring a phone number. There is no Internet access, which I did not know when I booked. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Bath and basin do not have plugs, so you can’t use them. Shower fortunately has a handle to assist safety as you step out of the bath onto slippery tiles. You can’t step onto bath mat because it has to be out of the range of the shower water. The shower screen does not stop water hitting the floor. There is plenty of parking, including undercover. But if it rains you have to park your car in a spot that drains, or you get wet shoes. The walk to the car park is not covered. I was there two weeks and at my request the room was not serviced. But I was able to ask for and get extra tea, coffee, toilet rolls etc. Staff definitely tried to help provided you could find them. All in all, not perfect but certainly in a convenient location with food, supermarkets etc all readily within walking distance.

1st room TV not working, window open to try to hide smell, could write my name in the dust on coffee table, carpet bare etc, asked to be moved! 2nd room, they had tried to mask smell with a spray and as I went to open window ( which couldn’t be opened ) I slipped on the floor where sticky spray had landed. Luckily didn’t fall . The bath was atrocious, ( shower overhead at least had good pressure ) cleaning very average at best. When we went to go to bed late that night we found a bottom sheet was thrown on not tucked in, no mattress cover at all, no top sheet, then an uncovered doona with a sheet over the top. We took that sheet off the top to use as a top sheet. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning and DEFINITELY a will never be back. The room smell went through everything! We certainly weren’t expecting top quality but at least clean and comfortable! ☹️☹️

The shower is over spa bath which is fine but the bath, jets and around taps weren’t very clean. Staff seemed fine when you saw them on the rare occasion. On the upside the rooms are a good size and it’s in a great location

This property is well located and the room itself good value for money. The bathroom was in a poor state, however - but OK. The worst two things are: 1. Rooms aren't serviced until after you leave. I stayed for 4 nights and had to take my own rubbish out and ask for fresh towels. 2. The Internet was non-existent. Actually I used the internet from the place next door. How a hotel this day and age cannot provide internet is beyond me!

The property is in a good location but needs a complete refurbishment to rate any higher than a 3. Very dated throughout the foyer and the rooms. One sofa in the foyer area had the fabric ripped off and was just a dirty piece of foam. In the room the shower had visible mould growing in the grout. There was thick dust along the skirting board and carpet behind the bedside table. The carpet was very poorly laid and was loose and rippled in parts. Sheets were clean but the blanket I retrieved from the cupboard was VERY old and I doubted that it had been cleaned in some time. There was no obvious entry point, signs on the door but not clear about where I was supposed to check in. No staff around. Overall presentation was poor.

Great communication from the property however no where did I read that there is no lift only stair access. The rooms were dirty and everything was old, but linen was clean and bed was ok to sleep in. Great location.
