"We stayed at The George Hotel as a midway stop that provided easy access to Bath. We had a standard twin room which was hidden in the back corridors of the hotel. "Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "This place was perfect for what we needed. Really good value for the price you pay. They kindly allowed us to check in early as we were attending an event at the Prospect Building that ran across their official check in hours. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Some noise from the pub and busy high street, but this was obviously expected and did not bother us at all. Would definitely stay again."
