"Room with fridge was a real bonus. Spacious, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast out of this world. Filled us up for the day. Chefs were just so accommodating and kind including all the staff from Cleaners to bar staff. Food in evening was 1st class we loved our stay and definitely will come back again."

"Very nice staff, quaint little hotel, very old pub. Rooms are modern. Because it’s so old the floors are slanted. Might be a problem if you have had a few drinks! The show is good, but the cubicle for it is very small, so not great if you are a larger person. Mattress was also very soft. But overall a very nice place."

Just note that the hotel is situated on a very busy road and due to being a listed building there is a limit as to what the owners can do to soundproof the windows, therefore rooms on the front can be quite noisy."
