"Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return. Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items. Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits. Coffee at breakfast was lovely. "We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property."
