"Lovely villa in very quiet area of Ubud. If you were looking for a secluded place to get away from every day hustles, this is the place to be!! The wifi connection was decent. The location was very inconvenient if you want to explore central Ubud and only one dining option available within the resort. Some of property features were "overkilled" I thought, like outdoor shower, toilet and living area. Certainly they did add "charm" but when raining, practicality and inconvenience took over. But...

And the best part of the Villa however was our driver, Ariawan "Ari". Ari picked us up from the airport and drove us wherever we wanted for our 3 day stay in Ubud. He gave us great recommendations on places to go. During our drives he told us lots of info about the fascinating history and culture of Bali. He happily answered my many questions too. He...

"Blown away by the quality of the stay at Devi’s place. I wasn’t expecting the villa to be so luxurious, it was really a treat for me. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. When I did venture out they were available to give advice and take me to the places I wanted to see. The area is about 2kms from Ubud centre so I spent more time in the area, local spas and Warungs. I recommend Cantika Zest for a spa day out and getting Lisna to come to your villa for a spa day in if it’s raining...

"Die Aussicht ist ein Traum und die Villa wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Viel Platz und ein Ambiente zum wohlfühlen. Die Treppen sind bei der Hitze eine Challenge aber es wird ein Free-Shuttle zum Ohanas angeboten. Ein paar Treppen weiter rauf ist ein tolles Restaurant/ Café mit hervorragendem Frühstück. "

We really enjoyed our stay abd the staff were super helpful and friendly. It was during caterpillar season though and part of the "nature" bit included the upsides and downsides...in this case, loads of caterpillars crawling everywhere- you get used to it after a while and they're quick to send someone round to clean up. "Diese Anlage liegt total abgelegen und deshalb haben wir hauptsächlich gewechselt in eine zentral gelegene Unterkunft in Ubud. Diesen Sachenverhalt hätten wir natürlich selbst bedenken müssen. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass die Bettwäsche nicht sauber und die Kissen Stockflecken hatten. Insgesamt machte die Villa einen sehr abgewohnten Eindruck (Flecken auf den Sofas). Und auch der Pool war nicht wirklich einladend. Morgens das Frühstück direkt in der Villa zubereitet zu bekommen, finden...

"Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour avant de prendre le bateau pour les iles Gilli . C’est très calme, une magnifique vue et le restaurant fabuleux. Nous avons pu profiter du spa et les massages sont divins . Le seul regret est d’être rester qu’une seule nuit ! "

Wir sind mit Motorbike angereist, denn per Auto ist es nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Das Hotelzimmer ist sehr liebevoll und landestypisch edel eingerichtet.
