"This property has a lot of potential because the location is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding area is one of its biggest selling points. The restaurant staff was also amazing—very friendly, welcoming, and one of the highlights of our stay. The checkout process was smooth and easy as well. That said, for the price paid, the hotel itself fell short of expectations. The room had a strong musty/moldy odor that was hard to ignore, and with no air conditioning, it made the stay fairly...

"The room was clean,spacious and I had a great view! I would have gave 5 stars all around, the dusty cobwebs on the dinning room chandeliers gave a vibe that didn't quite work with the price point of dinner. I was excited to use the floor warmer, however mine did not turn on. So that is why 4 stars on working amenities. The overall experience was great. Upon check out they went above and beyond to make something right. I experienced my first solo trip, and am thinking of making it once a year...

"Excellent for the price. Spacious room. I love the heater in the bathroom which is perfect for those chilly mornings. I like the decor and aesthetics. There’s road noise but after dark it significantly drops. Would absolutely return to stay again!"

"Ducha beautiful and unique stay. The apartment was very clean. Loved having a kitchen to cook our own meals. The view and surrounding area are unbelievable. You get a free tour of the light house and a free mini bottle of wine, which are nice additions. Definitely looking forward to coming back here. "

"Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."
