"The room smelled like urine, the room door was damages. There was a swarm of flies in the room and in the elevator. They refused to give me a refund because I "was in the room for 1hour", according to the time I checked in. I had a lot of things to unload, had to look for the hotel cart and I tried to get a hold of them over the phone but nobody answered and there was nobody in the lobby. 1 hour is reasonable for unloading, documenting the issues and try to communicate. "Check in was ok, we had a late check in at 12:40 am and front desk sat on her phone for a couple of minutes before I had to get her attention. The building had a horrible smell. We were not able to use the pool because a duck was in it. Floor was very dirty in the room. Breakfast food was not good, scrambled eggs had a rubbery texture and horrible taste, no non dairy milk offered, coffee dispenser served horrible tasting coffee. Not sure how this hotel received a “Good” status on Expedia."

A bit loud being near the highway but they can’t help that, and some of the other people staying there were loud at random times of night and there were some sketchy characters hanging around all the time.
