"Bad"

"The room smelled like someone's basement. Severely dated rooms with furniture and linens of a 1980's vibe. Air conditioner was good, water pressure in the shower was decent, only interacted with the staff once and no issues. I will likely look to stay somewhere else if I'm in the area"

"Easy check in, always love the suite rooms because it makes it feel like an apartment. My room clearly hadn't been cleaned very well. I like to unpack and use the drawers as if I was home. There were random pills in the night stand drawers, one on the floor by the same night stand. The other one, I had to pull out to plug in my Cpap machine into the wall and there was a candy bar on the floor. There were toe nail clippings on the floor near the foot of the bed and by the couch so clearly it...

"So glad we found the Nightshade Inn and Gardens. We just needed a place to stay for one night. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the snacks in our room, fresh fruit, and pastries for breakfast. Morning coffee was very good."

"stayed 2 nights. Room service never came and cleaned room room after 1st day. The front staff gave no explanation.....just gave me some more towels to use. The bed was so horribly soft, could hardly get to sleep. The shower design is HORRIBLE. Had the flat / step in design....and with the shower curtain that doesn't come all the way down....a lot of water just came out onto bathroom floor. The faucet is about 6" from the bottom !!?? makes no sense !!?? The marble/stone vanity in...

"Found a dead bed bug. Pool was unusable. AC didn't maintain temp. Parking lot not lit well. Restaurant closed. Appeared to be people living there. Not a safe feeling atmosphere."

"The staff at this hotel are amazing. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have everything you need. This was my second stay at this location and this time I brought my dog. She stole the show and came to be a staff favorite in the 2 and a half days we were there. Best pet friendly hotel I’ve stayed in by far."

"The staff was accommodating while our room was not ready yet. I thought it was a continental breakfast but it was made to order and one of us didn't have time to wait so we skipped it altogether."

"I finally found my room no thanks to the numbers on the doors that were small and hard to see. I got in my room only to search for a light that worked. Half of the lights didn't work. The security locks on the door were missing and broken. The bathroom sink didn't drain. I fixed it for them. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. The room smelled stale and unclean. The bedtime was made out of sheet metal and sounded like banging on a heat duct every time I moved in bed. The breakfast...
