"Such a lovely place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.
The room and amenities are in excellent condition.
The room was exceptionally clean.
The bed was warm and comfortable with the most amazing pillows.
The room is very quiet and we hand a sound sleep.

"Probably the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. Nice big room, very clean, very helpful and friendly owner and staff. Excellent bathroom and kitchenette. Netflix loaded on the tv and you don’t need to use your own login. Walking distance to Merivale shops and short Ubers to Christchurch city centre. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again"

"Very helpful staff. We needed a fan as our room had no air conditioning. They bought us a decent sized fan which was great. The washing machine was wonderful as we were there for 5 days and washing powder was provided. We stayed in the accessible room as Im in a wheelchair. Lots of grabrails in the bathroom and room for the chair. I thought the whole room was set out well for a wheelchairGreat pub on the corner for food, Jimmy's across the road also great food, liquorland 1 minute walk...

"Booked and paid for a spa studio, no spa in the unit received and no one to talk to as reception is not open or manned. Struggled to understand check in process and then the batteries of the door opener were flat so attempts to open our unit failed .
Rang after hours bell and after 3 times with no answer the person assured me they would come and fit new batteries. We waited 4 hours and then left as he never came.
Saw other travellers arrive and struggling with the same check in process"

"I stayed on the bottom floor. My room was nice, recently updated, great bed and bathroom. But unfortunately I could hear a lot of noise from upstairs (water in the pipes, movement etc) as well as street noise which made it difficult to go to sleep. I recommend asking for a room on the top floor. Be aware there is limited on site parking. There is street parking but there are time limits during the week."
