We only had breakfast on one morning but it was absolutely excellent. Local, tasty produce and top quality coffee. The Internet didn’t work well one evening but otherwise it was fine. Lodge was well maintained! Everything worked. Heating/ cooling was welcome as the weather was often wet and cool! Not very comfortable! Getting a little bit shabby! Lovely spacious parkland was well maintained? Overall met our expectations and pretty good value for money!

We had our baby and dog with us so it limited what we could do. It was low season so it was very quiet . We found a nice place for a picnic and relax in the sun a short drive away on the otherside of the river. Its a beautiful location on the river
