"First off they send us to another location where there was no staff. I had to call them wait to someone to come to pick us up. Check in took about a hour and a half. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we had to wait 30 min. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. There is no parking on site. "Loved the property. Felt like we were in our own little world. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Only downside is that it is way up on a mountain and you needed to wait for a shuttle to come pick you up in both directions. Shuttle only runs once per hour but in all fairness we were not inconvenienced by this at all. You can take a cab up that will cost you 30euro if you absolutely must get there."

"The room was spacious (triple) and well equipped. Away from the crowds, yet walkable to all places in Riomaggiore. Yes, it’s quite an uphill walk with luggage, but that is explained well during and after the booking with options available to transfer luggage. Do not follow google maps. Just walk straight up the road as you exit the tunnel (no stairs until you reach the place). So those who are rating this place lower for this reason should read the instructions carefully!"

"Great stay close to the train in La Spezia! Simone and Elisa were incredible hosts. Always accessible if we needed anything (which we didn’t because they thought of everything). Up quite a few steps but there is a small lift if needed and for luggage. We loved it. Next to great restaurants and very safe area. They even called a taxi for us when we wanted one. It was a great stay."

"Très bon séjour dans cette belle villa typique de Levanto. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Nous avions réservé l'appartement avec 2 chambres. Il est grand, propre, bien équipé et climatisé avec un joli jardin devant. Sur réservation, il est possible d'avoir une place de parking, sinon c'est compliqué de se garer dans la rue. Excellent petit déjeuner avec du choix et des produits de qualité. Centre ville et plage à 10min à pied. Tout était parfait !"

"15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."

"Hotel Carla was an excellent place to stay in the charming beachside Italian town of Levanto. The front desk staff were all incredibly kind and informational. You can rent bikes for free and ride around the town! Breakfast was delicious. 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the beach. Rooms were clean. "This property is located in the National Park of Cinque Terre. Antonella was amazing taking care of every detail since our arrival. Breakfast is fresh and delicious every morning. You can buy the tickets to ride the train in Cinque Terre at the hotel and it’s cheaper than buying them at the train station."
