"The staff at The Gates Hotel were friendly, welcoming, and did their best to help throughout my stay. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that several amenities advertised by the hotel were not actually available or accessible during my visit. While the customer service was good, the overall experience fell short of expectations because of the missing amenities. I hope the hotel improves communication about what is and isn’t available so guests can plan accordingly."

"We stayed in a room with a pull-out couch, but the couch was so uncomfortable that nobody could sleep on it. When we pulled it out and prepared the sleeping area, we discovered a dead cockroach on the bed. As a result, our family ended up sleeping together in the main bed. The room itself appeared poorly maintained. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and there were several maintenance issues in the bathroom.
