"Rooms little tired.. new shower install in our room which was nice. A/C strong and cold. Breakfast limited protein chooses only eggs . Breads, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt. Hot tub spacious . Location excellent. Walkable to Walmart , Three Blonde brewery , Sherman’s ice cream and El Nopal Mexican Restaurant. 5 min drive to downtown South Haven. Off beat hidden gem : The Lodge Restaurant. Downtown parking : Parking lot by South Haven farmer market ."

"Pros: Clean room, fun balcony, great restaurant and coffee shop, great service, fun live music on Sat night, gym, golf course nearby was very challenging but an amazing 18 holes with newer golf carts, spa was expensive for massages but we knew it in advance - spa staff for massages and facial (Catherine and everyone who was assigned to us) were incredibly kind and welcoming Cons: pool looked small with too many people, so we didn’t bother, enjoyed the Jean Klock beach, and the Rocky Gap beach instead, and there was some construction happening"

"Very reasonable priced request adjoining rooms and got them no problem, literally 5 mins to kings island also plenty restaurants in walking distance breakfast was early ends promptly at 9:30 but otherwise fine waffles maker usually with plain and a flavor batter. Eggs, sausage, muffins, etc. Didn't use it but pool seem nice. Staff was also very nice and polite."

"I was very nervous about staying here because of a lot of the reviews. But everything went just fine from check in to check out. Was it the cleanest or in everything in great condition? No, but for the price, I wasn’t expecting The Ritz lol. $116 for one night + $25 for our 95lb dog — hard to beat that price. The elevator was working and the pool was open during our stay, which my 11 year old enjoyed. The breakfast bar was also open and my 16 year old enjoyed the sausage, eggs, and a waffle. I didn’t get down there until closer to 8:50am, so the sausage was already gone but I was still able to have eggs and a waffle. The main safety concern I noticed was the side door by the stairs didn’t lock AT ALL. It would be nice if they explained the hold charge at check-in, but the lady quickly explained it at check-out when I asked about it (FYI: it was 20% of the booking). Random side-note, I really liked the scents of the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap. :) All in all, it was a good stay!"
