"The location is just what we wanted. The hotel staff handled our room change without any problem; there was a high school prom scheduled on the same floor as our original room. The shuttle van took us to all the events we had planned. We will be returning in the future."

"A very unique hotel! Accommodations were unlike any other that we have experienced. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast served at the lovely bar was very good. The decor and furnishings are appropriate to the club’s history. We would recommend The Detroit Club to anyone who appreciates an unusual night’s sleep. "

"Property was clean, spacious and close to all amenities in the downtown area. There were a few appliances that needed to be replaced, the iron did not work and the tea kettle lid didn't close property. Minor inconveniences, but overall a great stay."
