"My wife and I were traveling to the area to see a concert at the Darien Lake Amphitheater and booked the Asa Ransom House for an overnight stay so we didn’t have to drive back so late. "we supposed to check in at 3 but they allocated the room at 4pm. My entire trip schedule was disturbed due to this. staff at reception was not treating the customers well. They are very rude and many others were fighting with them."

"I used to stay in this hotel four years ago when my daughter went to college and it was great, but when I came this year, the place is not so well kept and the rooms need some updates. It is great location though and good amenities."

"Stayed this past weekend for a concert. Unfortunately we couldn't check in early however the staff was very helpful. We were able to take care of everything prior to the show so getting back was a breeze. Hotel was pretty outdated but for the price and convenience it was great for us. They even offer shuttle service to the venue for small fee. The food truck in the parking lot after the concert was a great bonus too! I would stay again if traveling for anymore shows!"
