The hotel itself was OK, with decent food and some genuinely kind staff, particularly the doormen, housekeeping team, and one young male employee in the main restaurant. However, the stay was consistently affected by significant language barriers. Very few staff members spoke or understood English, leading to repeated issues with basic requests such as room temperature, food orders, and even obtaining an extra room key. As English-speaking guests from the UK, we often felt overlooked and found communication unnecessarily frustrating. The spa experience ultimately ruined the trip. After being wrongly reassured about privacy in the hammam and later receiving a very poor-quality manicure, the situation escalated due to the behaviour of a spa manager who was dismissive, argumentative, and refused to apologise or take responsibility. Although a refund was eventually provided, the lack of professionalism and respect overshadowed any positives. Despite some goodwill gestures from the hotel, the spa management’s conduct left a lasting negative impression, and based on this experience, I would not return or recommend the hotel.

Fun and a good experience

Fun hotel. Friendly staff. Good vibes. Nice pool area with table tennis. Amazing beach area with beach volleyball. Food is amazing, staff helped us with booking dinner. Mr. Farhat offered me a shower after check out. The staff was willing to «go the extra mile». I can highly recommend this hotel.

Very chilled holiday. Loved all the activities in the hotel, yoga Pilates & belly dancing to name a few. Food was a bit samey every day. Would have been nice to have theme nights as other hotels do. Plenty of sun beds available. Loved hanging out with all the kitty cats

I stayed in a superior room for 6 days and went to a different room for 1 night! I Wassmer impressed by the one night room! 264 was at the end of the corridor, so very loud and a lot of passage! The superior room was so good. ( clean and the staff was very lovely)

Worst experience at this price point. Do not stay

We chose this over the Raddison Blu which had similar ratings and price point. We booked for five nights, but cancelled after the first night and moved to the Raddison Blu. Why? This hotel bills itself as 5 star, but it is anything but. The rating is from 2005. The beach facilities and pool are beautiful, but the service is rude and combative, and "all-inclusive" is anything but. Meals are available in the dining room and beer and wine are available. - We had two Tunisians in a large group of foreigners in D'Jerba for a wedding. One of the dining room staff got in a verbal altercation with one of the Tunisians because a group of four pushed two tables together for dinner (see picture). The rest of our group pushed five tables together with no issue. We went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager who refused to speak with us. - It was a normal hot summer day and the air conditioning was not sufficient to cool either the hotel or the rooms. At 10:30PM, our room was over 85F/29F. We called the front desk and the A/C technician came two hours later. He charged the system with A/C and we woke up to a huge puddle of water on the floor. - The wine is the cheapest Tunisian wine available and is pretty terrible. You can order better Tunisian wines, but they charge per bottle twice what you can buy for in the local market. If you are in a group, they will not serve a bottle. The dining room does not have enough water or coffee cups. AM Wait staff rude

There were a number of issues with my room, some resolved and others not. There was no hot water upon arrival and I had to repeatedly walk all the way to reception as the telephone in the room wasn't working. After 5 complaints, they somewhat fixed the hot water issue. There was an extremely loud noise from the plumbing of the toilet. Upon misplacing my room card in their restaurant, they charged me 5 EUR for a replacement. This was unacceptable. The buffet food served was bland and tasteless. There's no customer service element in this hotel. Nobody even asks if any help is required. Probably one of the worst hotels I stayed at especially for a "5 star".
