"The lodge was in the mountains about a mile from Ben Lomond. They had several options for eating and drinking, just not in the same location. Restaurant staff were very friendly & helpful. We had a coffee machine but no cups- it was easier & tastier to just buy their coffee. The WiFi information was non existent, even though they gave a log in code we never got connection. That’s not always a bad thing but good to share with others."

"I’ve stayed at the Seaway Inn off and on for more than 30 years. It’s a beautiful, updated smaller property that is near the Santa Cruz Pier and Boardwalk. It’s had different owners over the years and has been updated.
The beds, and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and very quiet. You don’t really hear the street noise but can hear the waves from the ocean. Our king room offered a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating....

"Over all the staff were helpful and were really nice. The room was nice until I took my shoes off for the shower and it was dirty. When I took a shower, turned on the water it was warm and at one point it went cold. The shower head was wonky, It was white and cheap looking and was spraying to the right which I couldn’t turn to the middle where I stood."

"It is an older property and currently some of the rooms were being renovated. I wish we had been notified and given the opportunity to select other rooms . The work going on in the rooms next to ours was noisy, and started early. I'm not sure if the room we were assigned to had been renovated yet, but the grouting in the (nice large shower) was dingy looking and shower slippers were a must. Also the toilet was unusually low to the groung requireing deep knee bend to use. The bed was too large...

"Dude. For what I paid for place is solid.
Staff was super nice room was clean but small however I really wasn’t in it.
The ac in my room sucked. Probably just my room but still inconvenient considering I love ac.
The jacuzzi (both) was probably 94-95 and the jets didn’t work. That was disappointing especially when it was getting cold.
Other than those 2 somewhat minor issues everything else was awesome. Great staff. Clean. Amazing location. For the price it’s worth every penny."
