We stayed at Hotel Canada for 2 nights. The location was very convenient — it’s walkable to the Duomo di Milano and other central attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good, with a very kind and welcoming lady attending the breakfast service.
However, there were a few downsides. One of the elevators wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel was also undergoing some remodeling and repairs, which added to the noise. On top of that, the windows were not soundproof, so it was hard to sleep with the street noise outside.
Another point that left us disappointed was being charged €10 for 4 bottles of water after check-out. I expected at least the water for the first night to be complimentary, as it is in many hotels.
Overall, the hotel has a great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff at breakfast, but improvements could be made regarding noise insulation, transparency on minibar charges, and maintenance.
