"After needing to book at the Baia Taormina hotel due to a power outage from a storm at our original booking (a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast!) the Baia Taormina turned out to be a very pleasant experience after a very disappointing day. The staff was wonderful including breakfast servers, front desk, housekeeping and our good friends whom served us each night at their very beautiful bar. the 2 pools are very beautiful with a very nice poolside bar and excellent personnel to serve you. As most of the Italian coast (in My experience) The trek to what would be the hotel beach is quite a hike and storm damage from a recent Cyclone made bathing very difficult unless you are young and in really good shape ( The trail down to the beach is quite an experience). There is however a public beach approx. 500 Meters down the road with easy access and some accessible parking if you must get to a beach. Breakfast that was included with accommodation was nothing less than excellent. The lady covering the espresso coffee bar was amazing. Free parking with lots of room was very helpful. This was our last venue stay in Italy and other than the B&B we needed to leave due to the power issue, Baia Taormina had the best parking that we experienced on the Italian southern coast. Location approx 40 Euro cab ride to Taormina center and for a drive to Messina, Mt Etna, or even as far as Ortigia the location is wonderful. Hotel Baia Taormina is an easy choice!"

"The hotel was super close to the port and very nicely maintained. I did pick this hotel because it had a hot tub and I was sore from traveling, but it wasnt working which was quite disappointing."

"The hotel lists its address as Villa San Giovanni. In fact it is in a frazione that is 5 kilometers from that town. I was furious when I discovered this en route to the resort."

"It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel; it is very clean and well-organised. The breakfast was fantastic, all fresh products; one thing that really stood out to us was the honeycomb at the buffet, dripping with delicious fresh honey. All the staff; from the dining room to the reception were truly kind and friendly, especially Giovanni, Benedetto, Sonia and Chiara! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it, as we had such a wonderful experience."

"The views from the hotel are incredible. The private pool is definitely the best feature of the hotel. WiFi isn't great however, almost inexistant at times. Water pressure in the shower was a hit and miss too. Breakfast was good and the one site parking is a huge advantage. I highly recommend the hotel"

"Highly recommended. I stayed here as a last-minute solution for one night as my planned accommodation was double booked and everything about my stay was a total relief. As soon as I arrived the staff put me at ease; totally capable, calm, and friendly in a genuine way. The hotel is spotless, modern, in a great location for public transport/ferries and has brand new AC. There's also a well-kept roof terrace that has an unobstructed view over the city. Staff are available over WhatsApp if you need anything and the rooms are secure, so I felt safe here as a solo female traveller. If you're looking for somewhere clean, safe and modern to stay on the way to or from the Aeolian Islands you really can't go wrong with this place."
