"A character home with very no actual character beyond the first impression when entering the main doors. We stayed in the Bell Island Suite, which in no way felt like a suite. It felt more like a dated cottage or camp cabin. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with no consistent style or attention to detail. Issues included missing drawer knobs, mismatched hardware, peeling paint on the shower ceiling, cracked bathroom floor tiles, poor ventilation causing slippery floors, worn furniture,...

"Older building , renovated rooms in central part of downtown Sr John’s. Our room had a view of Signal Hill across the harbour. Walking distance to all of downtown. Reasonably quiet for being right downtown. Great location if are okay with a flight of stairs and if you don’t have a car to park. (There is parking nearby) Staff were excellent. Very friendly, but that’s Newfoundland everywhere you go. They let us check in early. Thank you far a great 2 night stay."

"The pub has amazing service and great food 4 stars, Bruce is amazing A++ highly recommend. . The hotel is a different story. Staff was amazing and did everything they could to make our stay amazing 4 stars , hotel 3 stars, average at best. Wifi sucks, paid for a room with a jet tub and its broken and was not told when I booked 6 weeks ago. Hours before our room keys would work. Waiting to talk with the manager in the morning, soupose to get a discount when checking out.Never did receive any...
