This should clearly be made known at check-in. When we called down to the front desk for a couple of wash clothes and some toilet paper, we were told that he was the only one in the hotel and we would have to come down to the desk to pick them up. "We had to leave our car in an alley. Then, go up a stairwell to our room to get our parking code for access to their garage. We were required to park on an upper level, then get our bags and walk down a steep hill in the garage. We then had to walk our bags back to the hotel before going up a steep narrow stairwell. "This property was super nice, and is a hidden gem. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is to leave room for improvement. I think that, given a little amount of effort and focus on concierge level service, this property could become a real resort type experience. Get a little creative and watch the rooms fill up. We were so impressed and will be back!"
