Walking the walled garden, sitting in the drawing room while having a couple of drinks from the bar and chatting with the owner, were our favourite things. "For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. The best part of the hotel is the breakfast at the hotel cafe for a very reasonable price of €12.50/perdon. Best breakfast throughout our entire Ireland trip (see photos)."

"Good location. The spacious and modern apartments are situated right in the center. Excellent beds. Mini fridge. Parking is available right outside. A good base for exploring the south of County Donegal. The town itself is small and lively."
