"This is an old hotel/motel type property that is in need of some upgrading. The room was dark and had broken dresser drawers. The bathroom seemed clean but needed a paint job to spruce it up. The front desk woman was friendly and efficient."

"Great location within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in historic downtown Charlottetown. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations!"

"It was a very old house so the structure was a bit uneven ( used to be home of the girl who was the inspiration of Anne of Green Gables). They had a Tesla destination charger which was helpful."

"Excellent déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. La chambre et l'hôtel en général était d'une propreté impeccable. Nous voyagions avec 2 jeunes enfants et nous avons pu faire le check-in plus tôt sans frais additionnels comme la chambre était déjà prête. Excellent service!!! Je recommande 10/10 :)"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Trudy assisted us with an issue immediately and Leo in the Breakfast Room was super friendly, always cheerful and very helpful. Mike was very easy to deal with at check-in and quite friendly. This is an older property but very well maintained. I would highly recommend the Cavendish Motel for anyone looking of a good, clean room and easy access to all of P.E. I. Stayed for 4 nights and able to explore the Island easily from this central point."

"The room was clean and a good size with a quaint beachy theme. The beds were very comfortable. It had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker which were all needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again."
