The reason for my overall property rating and cleanliness as poor is in direct reflection of our bed comforter having a small (blood smear?) stain on it. We saw this and decided to not make a fuss and just swap it out with the spare blanket provided in the room. We then turned the bed down and found what appeared to be a large wettish oily looking mark (personal lubricant?).
We brought this to the attention of the front desk, but due to our checking in later, all their cleaning staff had left for the night. They did bring us fresh linen to change out our own bed, which we were not bothered by.
Upon check out we spoke with the hotel management requesting some measure of small reimbursement due to this negative experience. We were provided with a dissatisfying verbal apology for the inconvenience, told there was nothing they could do as we had booked through Expedia and sent us on our way.
If our issue was with the check in process we would agree, but it unreasonable to hold Expedia accountable for the cleanliness of the hotels bedding.
