"very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead."

"Unfortunately this property was very poorly advertised. Warning to others, the pictures on the website do not represent what the "resort" looks like or provides to it's customers. The property is poorly maintained and if you have a balcony the light outside doesn't work. The top banister was hardly attached. The wood was rotting and the screws were barely holding it in place. DO NOT LET CHILDREN OUT ON THE BALCONY. 4 days before we were to leave on vacation we were emailed an update stating the...

"Stephanie and Dave have the most beautiful and tranquil lakefront location. The Inn is stunning! Stephanie greeted us in the morning with a beautiful smile and served a delicious breakfast of fresh homemade blueberry scones, fresh fruit, overnight oats, eggs, yogurt parfaits and lots of breads and bagels. Coffee was hot and very tasty! Each room is exquisitely decorated. Lots of things to do, and nice restaurants for dinner close by. Will definitely book again in the future! "
