"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "The Hotel is set in such a peaceful position overlooking the harbour. You must try the Pizza from their own wood burning pizza oven, sit with a pint and a pizza enjoying the tranquil view. The staff are brilliant and the service superb. "
